    I generate all of my leads online by blogging. Now, I average about 20 new leads a day for free. That being said, it took me nearly five years of building websites and blogging to get to this point. Most people would not have stuck around that long to develop this skill.

    Knowing what I know now, I would have stuck with offline lead generation by doing the three foot rule. It’s much quicker and easier to do that it is to learn online marketing.

    We all come in contact with hundreds of people each day. If we are nice and strike up a conversation with people we will never run out of leads.

    If you are set on doing online lead generation, my best advice is to pick ONE strategy and master it. Don’t try and do ten different things at once. Stick with one thing, learn about it daily, and do it for a few years until you are a master at it.

    Examples include PPC, article marketing, guest posting, leaving blog comments, video marketing, direct mail, etc.
