MLM Blog: The best way to blow the top off your business

If you don’t have an MLM Blog, you might as well get used to the idea that you could be punching that lame ass 9-5 clock for the rest of eternity.

If the thought of that makes you want to cry, vomit, punch something, or all of the above, you need to listen up.

Well, I guess it is possible you are making money in your business using other strategies, but depending on what you are doing I revert back to the cry, vomit, punch something statement because  if you are using some of those outdated techniques that worked 20 years ago you are probably selling the dream but living the nightmare.

You know what I’m talking about; prospecting calls, 3-way calls, hotel meetings, calling friends, bugging strangers.

If you enjoy doing that you should probably keep doing it as long as it’s working.

If not, let us show you how to attract people into your business without even picking up the phone.

Here is what you do.

You blog, you blog some more, and you keep on blogging.

If you don’t know what blogging is, you’re looking right at it. Welcome to our mlm blog.

Here is why blogging is by far and away the greatest prospecting strategy in the history of history.

Blogging is all about providing value to people before you ever ask them to buy or join your business or whatever else you are trying to get them to do.

How do you provide value?

Well, it’s pretty simple.

You help them solve a problem, provide valuable information, entertain them, encourage them, inspire them, give them something they didn’t have before they found you, and do it for free.

Blogging and providing valuable information, also known as content marketing, is our preferred way to market our business.

If you want to learn more about this technique and get step by step instructions on how to do it, you have come to the right place.

So why is blogging so powerful for MLM’ers?

If you want people to buy from you it is important for them to get to know, like, and trust you. I am sure you would agree.

Since you aren’t going to be sitting face to face with your prospects, all you have is what you can type and what they can read.

With that being said, doesn’t it just sound silly to think that people will buy from you or join your team just based on some hypee written sales page or company written squeeze page?

With your mlm blog, people are able to get to know you, see you (in pictures), hear from you (in videos),like you, understand you, trust you, and get value from you.

If you really think about it, people are buying you, not your product.

I am sure your products are great and the compensation plan is out of this world, but why should your prospects sign up with you?

If people see you as a leader and someone that can help them get out of the 9-5 rat-race, work from home, make more money than they ever imagined, and help other people do the same, they will join you regardless of what the product is.

If you want to be seen as a leader it is important for you to brand yourself, tell your story, repeat your message over and over, and provide tons of value.

What better way to brand yourself than posting a new blog post every day or every other day?

Here is what will happen if you do.

Your prospects will get an inside look at you, your business, and your lifestyle. This is especially true if you get creative.

Of course high quality content is the back-bone of your mlm blog, but making it fun, funny, and personable is what will keep people interested and wanting more.

Your blog posts will last forever. People will reference back to your posts in the future if you are providing valuable information, and of course they will share it with other people.

Remember that every blog post acts as an entrance to your blog. If you write your posts about a specific topic and optimize it for search engines people will (hopefully) find your blog when they are looking for that particular information.

If you play your cards right, that person who landed on your site looking for some specific information will end up jumping around to read other valuable information contained on your site.

You do this by having links throughout your text and have lots of call to action. Don’t worry, we will teach you how to do all of that.

Do you want to put your MLM blog into lead-generating over-drive?

Provide so much valuable information on the subject you are promoting that you are seen as the authority on that subject.

Of course you want your prospects to see you as the authority, but just as important, you want Google to see you as the authority.

Google’s (and all other wannabe search engine’s) purpose is to provide it’s users with the most relevant information related to the search term that was entered in the search bar.

Who do you think Google is going to recommend; a site that has been around for a week with 3 posts or a blog that has been around for months or years with hundreds of posts, tons of links from other relevant sites, lots of social media shares, and comments from its readers?

See what am I getting at here? Google will reward the site that puts in the hard work.

No one ever said that blogging would be easy. If you want to be seen as the authority on your subject, you are going to have to work your butt off in order to achieve that status.

I can assure you that you will be glad you did once you see people buying from you without even asking them to buy.

Are you sold yet? I thought so.

I think blogging can be a smart move. but here’s the deal. At least 9 in every 10 MLM blogs I visit online are dead. They haven’t been updated for months or years. Blogging is a long term commitment, just like building a MLM Business. You have to do it day in and day out, no excuses. Most people simply aren’t willing to do that.

All things aside, if you get started, stick with it, and blog consistently, it can really pay off. But there are much better and much easier strategies than blogging. Just my two cents.

I been involved in networking marketing for over a year now! I’m not a good writer! I don’t want to give up on network maketing. I need to learn how to blog! I got value and leadership skills.

      Derrick,

Being a good writer is important. Can you partner up with someone who can write? That is one option. Another option is to focus on video.

I couldn’t agree more! Putting a blog out there ensures that the content you post can be searched and located over time. Something else I have found extremely helpful is actually videos as well – Youtube is quickly becoming the largest search engine. I am able to deliver advice and attract leads with videos. Also, Google ranks videos very highly now.

Great article. Blogging is one of the best way but the problem is not as easy and many find difficult. In that case they may hire some good bloggers

It is one of my goals in 2016 to become a better blogger. This post helped me see that i am in the right line of thinking with that goal. Thanks for the insights. Especially the way you worded it about how your blog brings that person value in some way for free even before you talk to them about your product. I have always been a believer in adding value to others in any way you can.

An awesome article; indeed a blog is the best marketing strategy for building a network marketing business because of the advantages it has. the people who try building network marketing without a blog keep chasing prospects yet with a blog it is hunting prospects; they bring themselves to you.
Thank you Jason for this wonderful knowledge

Of course I think everyone should have an MLM blog for their business. Be in it for the log haul as it takes consistent work to build credibility and relationships from a blog. If you find yourself to busy to blog outsource the content writing. You may find yourself working more on your business and not in your business that way. Do what you like to do best and outsource the rest!
