If you haven’t discovered this already, you probably will soon. You need leads in order to grow your business; LOTS OF LEADS.
Here is a quote I heard today. “New blood is the lifeblood of your business”.
Unless your team is so large that new people are joining through your down-line faster than they are quitting, you’re probably gonna to need to keep prospecting.
This means you are going to need leads!
There are 2 things I am almost certain of.
1) Not everyone you bring into your business is going to stick around. Some people just aren’t cut out for this industry, or maybe they just aren’t ready right now.
2) If you haven’t already, you will eventually run out of friends, family members, and co-workers to talk to. That is, if you are even prospecting your warm market. I can tell you this for sure; I am not!!!
So what does this mean? You need a constant flow of high-quality, targeted, pre-qualified leads.

I learned something a long time ago. It is smart to have more leads coming in than you can handle.
Having an abundance of leads will subconsciously put you in a different state of mind. It will change your posture and how you interact with your leads.
When talking to leads, you want to be in control of the conversation. You want to be qualifying your prospect, and not the other way around. And of course, we want to come across as though we are desperate.
If you have a limited number of leads (and especially if you paid for them), you may have a tough time disqualifying or letting people go.
Out of necessity, you may feel as though you have to try and recruit anyone and everyone regardless of their qualifications.
If you have more leads than you can handle, you are less likely to waste time with unqualified prospects.
Your objective will be to weed through a whole bunch of people who are unqualified to find a few good people that are.
It allows you to pick and choose who you want to work with and invite into your business, rather than allowing any living, breathing person into your business.
So the bottom line is, it doesn’t really matter how you get leads, you just need a constant flow of new leads.

Save Money
You can purchase leads from a wide variety of MLM lead vendors. I am certainly not going to discourage you from doing this.
If you have the budget to buy leads and the time to call them, you can build a sizable team in a hurry.
I forgot one thing though. You also need some phone skills, a lot of confidence, and very thick skin in order to be successful calling cold-market leads.
If you don’t have the above mentioned, you are not out of luck.
If you are willing to invest some time and money into training, you can transform yourself into a lead-calling machine. In fact, many lead vendors offer free training.
If you don’t have the resources and don’t want to try acquiring them, I can show you an alternative that will save you money, time, and a lot of rejection. Who doesn’t want that?
Generate MLM leads that are pre-qualified
There is a built-in advantage to generating your own MLM Leads.

June 17, 2015Getting leads is just the starting point. I know several people with tons of leads, but they can’t convert anyone. You also have to work on your skills, especially your phone skills. Most people are not going to just visit a website and then sign up! You’re still going to have to connect with them on the phone or in person. That’s why you need to improve your skills.
People join people, not businesses. People want to know that you are going to stick around AND that you can help them.
So yes, leads are important. But having the skills to convert leads into customers and distributors is even more important.
Just my two cents.
