Hey everyone. So I just got back from an Empower Network “Don’t be a Wussy” 2013 live event in Denver Colorado.
I figured this would be a good time for me to talk about why I think it is so powerful to attend live company sponsored events.
Everyone is going to experience live events differently, so obviously just because I had a certain experience doesn’t mean you will have the same.
It is my goal to share my thoughts on the event to give those of you who have never attended one a few things to consider before making a decision to go or not go to the next event your company is hosting (hopefully it is an Empower Network event).

As you saw in the video, I wanted to give both the pros and the cons. It is the only way to keep it real and show both sides of the coin.
Network Marketing-MLM-direct sales is a people business, not a product business. I know that the only way money exchanges hands is through the sale of products, but what makes that all possible is the people and the relationships that we develop and share with one another.
By far and away the greatest value of the event for me was the relationships that I developed over the weekend.
Because I promote my business primarily over the internet, most of my relationships with team members have been established over the phone, email, and texting.
Hanging out with these guys over the weekend gave us the opportunity to really bond with one another. Not only did we learn a lot about each other, we were able to build trust and rapport.
We did a lot of masterminding and planning for the future. Ideas were born that I am sure would not have been if we weren’t all together in one place.
I shared my experience in the video, so I won’t go through everything here. I just wanted to share the most valuable experience I had at the event.
All in all, the event was a great experience. There is no doubt that I will continue to attend as many live events as I can.
I strongly encourage you to attend future events because you never know who you might meet or what type of breakthroughs you may have.
